Interior Trades Contractor for a New Residence Hall at Ball State University
Cleveland Construction, Inc. was contracted to perform the interior trades package in the construction of a new, standalone residence hall located in the North Residential Neighborhood at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
The North West Residence Hall consisted of the new construction of two, five-story residential towers, providing housing for over 500 students. The project included a two-story connector centered between the two towers which included a large multi-purpose room, laundry room, lounge, fitness center, mailroom, and administrative offices. North West is home to the Design and Education Living-Learning Communities at Ball State University. The facility is LEED Silver certificated.
Cleveland Construction furnished and installed the load-bearing wall panels, light gauge framing, thermal insulation, drywall, ceiling tile, wood ceilings, and sound-absorbing wall panels on the North West Residence Hall project.
