Miami University Western Campus Residence Halls

Oxford, Ohio

Project Overview

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was subcontracted to provide interior and exterior trades for 3 new residence halls located on the north end of Miami University’s Western campus.

The Stonebridge, Beechwoods, and Hillcrest residence halls are each 3 stories tall and approximately 75,000 SF. These new residence halls were designed with a focus on the second-year student experience and provide the University with over 700 more beds to accommodate a growing student population.

Cleveland Construction’s scope of work included installation of the exterior metal studs and sheathing for all 3 residence halls. Cleveland Construction was also contracted to complete installation of the interior framing and drywall, acoustical and drywall ceilings, and wood blocking in each residence hall.

The project was completed in July 2014 and available for students to move into for the Fall 2014 semester.
