St. Claire HealthCare Medical Pavilion

Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed as the interior trades contractor under Wehr Corporation on the construction of the new 3-story, 81,000 SF St. Claire Medical Pavilion located on St. Claire HealthCare’s main campus in Morehead, Kentucky. 

The new Medical Pavilion includes outpatient services such as cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, urology, and orthopedics. In addition, the facility has more than 100 examination rooms, as well as space for medical oncology, physical therapy, and radiology/laboratory services. 

The steel-framed building features an exterior canopy that provides a covered drop-off area for visitors to the facility, an additional entry that allows direct access from the adjoining surface parking lot, and an elevated pedway connector from the second floor of the existing hospital to an upper level of the medical pavilion.  The exterior façade is comprised of a combination of glass curtain walls, metal panels, and masonry wall construction, with a membrane roof. 

Cleveland Construction’s scope of work included the installation of drywall, acoustical ceilings, light gauge metal framing, exterior cold-formed metal framing, glass fiber reinforced gypsum column covers, and hollow metal door frames.
