Project Overview
Interiors Trades Contractor for the Zone 1 F-35 Flightline Facilities at Tyndall Air Force Base
Cleveland Construction, Inc. is performing the interior trades work for the Zone 1 F-35 Flightline Facilities at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
The project is a major component of the comprehensive effort to rebuild the base following the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Michael in 2018. The project includes construction of 11 new facilities totaling over 495,000 combined square-feet designed to support the F-35 flightline operations, including 3 operations and aircraft maintenance unit hangars, a flight simulator facility, a weapons load training hangar, an aircraft maintenance fuel cell hangar, an operations and maintenance group headquarters, and various logistics and maintenance squadron support complexes.
Our team is subcontracted with Hensel Phelps for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District to furnish and install the interior trades package.
Cleveland Construction's scope includes metal stud framing, drywall hanging, drywall finishing, insulation, and the installation of acoustical and specialty ceilings across the flightline facilities.
