Interior Trades Contractor for a New Residence Hall at Ball State University

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is self-performing the interior trades package for the construction of a new, stand-alone residence hall in the North Neighborhood Development on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

The new residence hall is comprised of two, five-story residential towers for 500 students. A two-story center connector is located between the two towers and includes a large multi-purpose room, laundry room, lounge, fitness center, mailroom, and administrative offices.

Cleveland Construction scope of work includes load-bearing wall panels, light gauge framing, thermal insulation, drywall, ceiling tile, wood ceilings, and sound-absorbing wall panels.

The facility is targeting LEED Silver certification.
