Cleveland Construction Completes Skyline 776 Apartments in Downtown Cleveland

Cleveland Construction, Inc. has successfully completed Skyline 776 Apartments, a 23-story, 250-foot mixed-use high-rise on Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

The project adds 304 apartments and penthouses, along with ground-level retail space, to the downtown market. Work began in December 2021 and included significant milestones such as the mat foundation pour in July 2022, the structure going vertical in October 2022, and topping out in August 2023.

Vocon, the project’s architect, described the design intent as follows:

“Skyline 776 takes a hotel-influenced, amenity-rich approach to urban living: a 23-story mixed-use tower on Euclid Avenue that activates the street with café, restaurant, speakeasy, and retail at the podium while lifting residents into light and views above. Residences pair loft-like rawness—exposed concrete slabs and expressed ductwork—with contemporary finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows, with select balconies to extend living to the outdoors.

The vibrant exterior façade seeks to infuse downtown Cleveland with a splash of color and feature curved roof that frames views from the sky deck to Cleveland’s most important public spaces. A robust amenity package culminates in a rooftop “sky club” with pool, hot tub, bar, and wellness/fitness spaces, fostering community and framing panoramic city and lake vistas. The siting reinforces downtown walkability, steps from Playhouse Square, Public Square, the Warehouse District and the Gateway District, knitting the building into the everyday fabric of Cleveland’s active urban core.”

Phase occupancy began in October 2023, with the first residents moving in as work continued on upper levels. The entire building is now complete and open.

Cleveland Construction served as construction manager and coordinated the work of 25 trade partners to deliver the project.
