Diversity and Inclusion

Creating Stronger Jobsites Through Inclusiveness and Workforce Development

Diversity and Inclusion

Cleveland Construction believes that when you create a culture where every Trade Partner and worker feels included and valued you have a stronger jobsite, and we have a stronger company.

We place great emphasis on ensuring that all workers and Trade Partners are fully supported in ways that help them be successful. We welcome all Trade Partners including small, minority, veteran and female-owned businesses to pre-qualify to build great projects with us.

As a company committed to training our employees, Trade Partners and workers, we have established systems that support developing skills and understanding in key areas including Safety, Quality, Coordination, Inclusiveness and Professionalism.

This support advances a culture of continuous improvement benefitting our employees, Trade Partners and workers that are part of our Project Teams.

Code of Conduct

Every worker who comes to one of our jobsites participates in an orientation that includes our Code of Conduct.

Our Code of Conduct orientation discusses what it means to be a construction professional and the importance of always treating each individual and the community at large with respect.

We facilitate this discussion with a Code of Conduct toolbox talk and/or an animated video to ensure this message is delivered consistently to every worker on a Cleveland Construction jobsite.

By working together, we will build great buildings, but we will also build a culture where everyone feels they belong, and their skills and contributions are valued.

Women in Construction

Cleveland Construction supports and encourages the involvement of women in the otherwise male-dominated industry of construction. We participate in events celebrated by the National Association of Women in Construction to encourage women's overall success in construction and highlight our own team members annually.

Veterans in Construction

Our veterans in the field are also an important part of Cleveland Construction. We honor them annually during our Veteran's Week celebrations and always appreciate their contributions to the industry. We know the importance of acknowledging both their previous service to the country and current to their jobsites.
