Mike Ugrinic is a Preconstruction Manager located in Cleveland Construction's Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Mike has extensive experience estimating a range of project types, including retail, mixed-use, and hospitality developments; healthcare facilities; office buildings; automotive dealerships; and industrial sites. Working with clients, design teams, and Cleveland Construction's trade partners, Mike has led preconstruction value-engineering exercises resulting in millions of dollars of realized project savings.

As Manager of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Mike leads organizational efforts in adopting and implementing technological best practices throughout the company. This includes utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for constructability analysis, trade coordination, and clash detection. Mike works directly with the project team during the design development and construction phases of a project to identify and resolve conflicts in the virtual environment. Mike's VDC efforts complement Cleveland Construction's lean building and Zero Rework approach by reducing the number of construction-related RFIs, leveraging prefabrication and pre-assembly techniques, and improving logistical efficiency.
