Buckeye Elementary
2-story, 12-Classroom Elementary School Addition
Painesville, Ohio
Cleveland Construction, Inc. is the construction manager at Risk for a classroom addition and renovation project at Buckeye Elementary School for Riverside Local Schools in Painesville, Ohio.
The project features a new 2-story classroom wing with 12 classrooms and a full-size gymnasium. This project expands and modernizes the school by replacing its auxiliary trailers, bringing all learning spaces under one roof. The expansion allows the district to consolidate kindergarten through 4th grade students from other area elementary schools into a single facility.
The scope of work also includes expanded parking areas to improve traffic flow for staff and visitors, as well as relocating the school's existing gymnasium.
Construction is underway as of July 2026, with completion scheduled for August 2027. The project addresses student enrollment growth, improves traffic safety on campus, and updates the facility to modern educational standards.
Cleveland Construction is working with ThenDesign Architecture (TDA) and the school district’s owner’s representative, RFC Contracting.
