Project Overview

General Contractor for the New Indian Land High School

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was the general contractor for the construction of the new 2-story Indian Land High School located in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The new high school construction was constructed on 93 acres of land occupying 341,158 square feet of space.

The high school project incorporated the construction of a new 2-story, 258,000 square-foot high school building with a 27,000 square foot cafeteria, a 22,400 square foot Career and Technology Center, a 17,500 square foot athletics field house, sports fields for track, soccer, and baseball, and associated campus and parking areas for students, visitors, and district buses. The school site has direct access to Highway 521 and the property is large enough to provide Lancaster Country School District with space for future growth.

Our team also facilitated BIM coordination for the new high school building, CTE building, and athletic facilities. This included all modeling and coordination, including the underground utilities.

In addition, our construction team, Moseley Architects, and Lancaster County School District worked together to obtain LEED certification from the USGBC for the use of sustainable design, resources, and materials.
