Office-to-Hotel Building Conversion of Cleveland's Historic Rose Building

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is the design-build contractor for the historic redevelopment and adaptive reuse of Cleveland’s iconic Rose Building, now known as Project Scarlet.

As the Design-Build contractor for Spark GHC, Cleveland Construction is converting this 10-story landmark into a mixed-use destination. The office-to-hotel building conversion will include 156 Marriott-branded premium apartments, a 121-room Tribute by Marriott hotel, signature dining, a lobby bar, and 5,400 square feet of event space.

The project combines historic preservation with modern design, providing residents and guests with world-class amenities. These include a spa, gym, concierge services, and Marriott Bonvoy rewards.

Phase one of the historic redevelopment started with demolition in January 2026, with construction continuing throughout 2026 and completion anticipated in the summer of 2027.
