Cleveland Construction provided construction management services for an 8-story Residence Inn by Marriott located in University Circle in Cleveland, Ohio.
The new 175-room, 131,000 SF hotel was built with cast-in-place concrete foundations, a slab-on-grade structural steel podium, structural cold-formed metal framing and joists, a metal deck, a gypcrete topping, unit masonry, brick veneer, cultured marble, metal wall panels, fiber cement siding, millwork and manufactured casework, gypsum board assemblies, waterproofing and membrane air barriers, and TPO membrane and vegetative roof systems.
The project also includes a swimming pool; aluminum sunshades and framed entrances; doors, door frames, and hardware; windows and storefronts; laundry and linen chutes; elevators; interior finishes; and HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire suppression/alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Site improvements include site clearing, design-build subgrade ground improvement, site utilities, site concrete curb and sidewalks, asphalt paving, site furnishings, hardscapes, landscaping, and irrigation.
