Cleveland Construction, Inc. is providing construction management services on the Skyline 776 Apartments (formerly City Club Apartments), a new 23-story post-tensioned concrete mixed-use residential high-rise tower in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
Construction Overview:
Branded as "the future of apartment living," the apartment building contains 304 apartments and penthouses with resort-class amenities, international design, hospitality services, street-level retail, multi-level restaurant and speakeasy, cafe, and doggie daycare. The roof will include a park with a rooftop pool, a lounge with gourmet, and a garden. A speakeasy lounge will occupy a portion of the basement, and a restaurant on levels 1 and 2 will feature an elevated patio.
Skyline 776 Apartment's Foundation:
The building is supported by a 2,700 cubic-yard mat foundation or floating slab in lieu of caissons or piles.
Interior & Exterior Design Details:
The metal plate façade will be one of the most unique in the Midwest, featuring a mosaic on the upper levels. At the top of the building, a cast-in-place concrete “curved” roof and overhang will be a prominent architectural feature. Design elements within the building’s interior and rooftop amenities are inspired by some of the world’s top boutique hospitality properties.
What is the status of construction at Skyline 776 Apartments Cleveland?
Cleveland Construction officially kicked off the project in December 2021 during a groundbreaking celebration with the owner. Since then, key milestones included pouring of the mat foundation in July 2022, vertical post-tensioned concrete construction in October 2022, and the successful topping out of the 23-story structure in August 2023.
