Cleveland Construction Awarded the Historic Adaptive Reuse of Carding House in Cincinnati

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is proud to announce that we have been awarded the construction management contract for the historic adaptive reuse of the Carding House building located in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our team will begin mobilizing in June to convert the 51,649 square-foot, three-story building into a 44-key luxury boutique hotel.
Originally an office building, the Carding House will be reimagined as a high-end hospitality destination featuring high-end guest rooms, a welcoming lobby with café and seating, a fitness center, laundry facilities, and a ground-floor retail space.
The redevelopment scope includes interior demolition, structural framing, finishing, and the installation of new modern mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while preserving the building’s historic features.
This 14-month redevelopment project is being developed by Blue Suede Hospitality Group, which selected Cleveland Construction after our team’s ongoing success managing the historic adaptive reuse conversion of the Sky Central Apartments (Union Central) building located on the same block and now entering its final stages of construction.
