New CTE Building at Riverside Campus Officially Under Construction

Cleveland Construction, Inc. joined Riverside Local Schools, staff, students, and community members for a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the start of our team managing the construction of a new 4,500 square foot Career Technical Education (CTE) classroom addition at Riverside High School.
The ceremony, held on Friday, May 30th, marked the official start of construction that will expand the district’s capacity to deliver hands-on instruction in skilled trades and technical careers. The new one-story addition will house classrooms for Construction Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, and other CTE programming, along with shared learning spaces and restrooms.
The project is being funded in part by a $2.5 million Career Technical Education grant awarded by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Cleveland Construction is serving as the Construction Manager at-Risk and is working closely with Riverside Local Schools and the project team to deliver the new CTE classrooms that align with the district’s goals for future-ready education.
Construction began following the conclusion of the 2024–2025 academic year. The building is scheduled to be weather-tight by the start of the 2025–2026 school year, with final completion expected by the end of Summer 2026.
