Design-Build Services for Metal Building Expansion
Cleveland Construction served as the design-builder for an expansion of Integrated Medical Solutions' light manufacturing facility located in Mentor, Ohio.
The project included a 9,880 SF prefabricated metal building expansion on a 6" slab-on-grade concrete pad. The newly expanded area is connected to the existing 21,412 SF building via 3-hour, fire-rated walls and doors. The expanded facility features a large production area, a breakroom and restrooms with lockers, and a mezzanine with restrooms, a conference room, and offices overlooking the production area below. The exterior façade included a masonry apron and flat metal siding.
