Construction Complete on Hyatt House Destin at Regatta Bay

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of the Hyatt House Destin at Regatta Bay in Destin, Florida. The project has achieved final completion, including successful inspections, Certificate of Occupancy, and Hyatt brand approval for opening.

The new 6-story hotel includes 146 guestrooms across the 95,500 square-foot structure. The hotel includes extended-stay, apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Additional amenities include a limited-service kitchen with breakfast area, meeting and board rooms, a porte cochere, and an outdoor pool with interior and exterior gathering spaces.

Cleveland Construction served as construction manager for the project, delivering a hospitality asset positioned near Destin Commons within a key coastal destination corridor.

The hotel structure consists of load-bearing CMU walls with hollow-core concrete floor slabs and a reinforced concrete slab-on-grade foundation system.

Throughout construction, the project team utilized technology platforms to support coordination, scheduling, and field execution. OpenSpace progress tracking provided consistent visual documentation of site progress. BIM coordination supported preconstruction planning and trade coordination. OxBlue cameras delivered real-time jobsite visibility for stakeholders. GC Pay supported subcontractor billing and payment workflows, improving financial tracking and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

The completion of Hyatt House Destin reflects Cleveland Construction’s continued focus on disciplined project delivery, coordination, and execution across complex hospitality developments.
