Construction Underway on New Walmart Supercenter in Westlake, Florida

Construction is underway on a new Walmart Supercenter in Westlake, Florida.

Cleveland Construction mobilized at the site on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road this month. Crews have set up the jobsite office, installed erosion controls and fencing around the site, and are building the gravel construction entrance that will carry trucks on and off the property during sitework.

The 177,609 square-foot store includes a full grocery, pharmacy, vision center, Auto Care Center, and a pickup area for online orders. The project also includes a 4,981 square-foot Walmart liquor store and a Walmart fuel station with a 10-dispenser canopy and service building.

Cleveland Construction is serving as the general contractor for Walmart. HFA-AE is the building architect and CPH is the civil engineer. MJC Land Development is performing the sitework.

The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2027.
