Englewood, Florida

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was contracted to renovate an existing Winn-Dixie in Englewood, Florida, converting part of the space into a new 36,000-square-foot Aldi grocery store.

The project involved subdividing the existing structure and making significant interior and exterior modifications to meet Aldi's operational standards.

The scope included updates to fixtures and equipment throughout the building, changes to interior and exterior walls, and refinishing or replacing wall and floor surfaces.

Portions of the lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems were reworked to support new fixtures and refrigeration equipment. The rooftop condensing unit for the refrigeration system was also replaced.

This retrofit improved the building's functionality and appearance, delivering a modernized space that supports Aldi's continued growth in the region.
