Avery Dennison Plant Expansion

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was the general contractor for an expansion project at Avery Dennison's Performance Tape Coating Line facility in Painesville, Ohio.

This 35,000 square foot, single-story expansion was designed to enhance Avery Dennison's ability to develop and deliver high-quality pressure-sensitive adhesive solutions for a wide range of industries, including automotive, general industrial, packaging, and building and construction.

The expansion also includes a new coater and production line for the manufacturing of multilayer pressure-sensitive tapes, as well as supporting equipment for ventilation and controlled humidification.

Constructed using structural steel, masonry walls, and insulated metal panels, the expansion project features maximum wall heights of 47 feet and was built with future expansions in mind, including a new electrical service. The facility produces complex, multiple-layer pressure-sensitive specialty tapes that are widely used in the automotive, general industrial, packaging, and building and construction industries.
