Camp Cedar Luxury Outdoor Resort

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was the construction manager for a new 52-acre luxury outdoor resort in Mason, Ohio. This outdoor resort includes 73 cottages in five different configurations that can sleep between four and eight people, depending on the cottage. Each cottage has a rustic feel, but with modern appliances and furniture, including private bedrooms, 50-inch televisions, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a full bathroom with a shower. The resort also features 184 back-in or pull-through full-service RV sites as well as bathhouses.

The Hornbeam Lodge is the centerpiece of Camp Cedar, housing a restaurant and a full-service bar that also opens up onto the outdoor patio, which serves the pool area. It also includes a souvenir shop, a small grocery store, a welcome center, family and children activities. The lodge will also serve as a gathering space, with a large open grand room and fireplace.

This hybrid resort and camping area also includes bathhouses, a bark park, laundry facilities, heated adult and 2 recreation pools, poolside cabanas, huge family activity areas, a walking trail, a fitness room, a food court with casual sit-down dining with seasonal outdoor patio dining. 

Camp Cedar includes two swimming pools: the larger Deerfield Springs is a family-friendly, 5,000-square-foot pool complete with a water basketball zone, multiple geysers, and water features, and a waterfall that feeds into the pool.

The Kingfisher Landing is a smaller, 2,000-square-foot adult-only pool that abuts the outdoor-facing portion of the Ironwood Grill's bar. The pool includes a six-inch-submerged sundeck. Both pools are heated.
