Phased Grocery Store Renovation with Off-Hours Construction
Cleveland Construction is performing an interior renovation of the existing 42,497 square-foot KJ's Market Store to convert it into a Lowes Foods #293 store.
The scope includes phased demolition and renovation of major interior areas such as the sales floor, deli, restrooms, meat department, customer service, and other areas.
Construction is scheduled over a 32-week duration and is primarily conducted during off-hours to allow the store to remain open during regular daytime hours.
Our team is managing daily coordination with store operations to limit disruptions and maintain customer access and safety. Work areas are contained, and temporary barriers, signage, and controlled access points are used to separate construction from the public. Safety protocols are enforced to protect store staff and customers.
Exterior facade improvements, including the front entrance, are being managed and delivered separately by the landlord, with a 90-day schedule from the start of exterior work.
