Big-Box Retail General Contractor a New Menards

Mentor, Ohio

Cleveland Construction, Inc. provided general contracting services to Menard Inc. for the construction of a new 194,000 SF, single-story, slab-on-grade retail store in Mentor Ohio.

The retail project, which was constructed on a 42.1 acre site, also included the construction of an adjacent 48,969 SF covered accessory building that includes 1,200 linear feet of exterior material racking.

Site work for the project included earthwork, utilities, concrete curb and sidewalk, fencing, landscaping, 2 retention ponds, and an asphalt parking lot for 431 cars located on the north side of the building.

Along with the site work, this project included public road work modifications and the widening of the northbound and southbound sides of Diamond Center Drive at the building’s entrance.
