Tanger Outlets Columbus

Sunbury, Ohio

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was the Construction Manager for the construction of a new Tanger Outlets for Simon Property Group located north of Columbus in Sunbury, Ohio.

The new retail outlets center consisted of 10 buildings totaling 382,000 square-feet that was developed on a vacant 70-acre site, located in Sunbury, Ohio.

The buildings were constructed of pre-cast/tilt-up concrete wall panels with structural steel, metal stud framing, and sheathing. The exterior finishes included EIFS, thin brick and cast stone elements, aluminum storefronts, pre-painted metal trims and flashing elements.

The project also included deceleration lane work on 71 North, the widening of SR 36/37, the miles long extension of Wilson road from SR 36/37, erosion control, earthwork cuts/fills, sanitary sewer systems, paving and curbing, lighting, landscaping, striping, signage, traffic signals, car charging stations, stamped concrete, decorative awnings and canopies, outdoor fireplaces and high-end exterior hardscapes equivalent to a mixed-use lifestyle center.

Construction began in June 2015 and was in completed June 2016.
