Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed as the general contractor for the construction of a new 45,105 square-foot Neighborhood Market #7098 grocery store located in Newport, North Carolina.
Cleveland Construction was responsible for managing and coordinating the construction of all trades including site demolition, earthwork, soil stabilization, asphalt, concrete paving, site irrigation system, chain link fences and gates, segmental retaining wall systems, site furnishings, cast-in-place concrete slabs and foundations, color (stamped) concrete, burnished concrete floor finishes, unit masonry, structural steel erection, metal fabrications, rough and finish carpentry, EIFS, membrane roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, roof hatches, joint sealers, steel doors and frames installation, gypsum board, cold-formed steel framing, ceramic tile, act ceilings, resilient base, carpet, painting, fire suppression, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical.
The building was completed on-time following an aggressive construction schedule of 90 days. The neighborhood market opened to the public in June 2014.
