Construction underway on new Walmart Fuel Station in Lafayette
Construction is officially underway on a new Walmart Fuel Station in Lafayette, Indiana.
To celebrate the start of the build, Walmart's Store Management team joined our Project Superintendent onsite for photos and a first look at the site layout within outlot of the existing Walmart Supercenter before sitework begins next week.
The project features a 10-pump fuel station under a 5,600 square foot canopy and the installation of three underground storage tanks.
The new 1,511 square foot wood-framed retail building will feature an EIFS exterior and a PVC roof membrane. Designed for efficiency, the interior will include a convenience sales area, refrigerators, restrooms, and storage. The project also includes extensive sitework such as landscaping, exterior signage, site lighting, and modern stormwater management systems to ensure long-term sustainability.
Cleveland Construction is managing the installation of all fuel station equipment as the general contractor. Our team is overseeing everything from the piping and underground storage to the fuel dispensers and point-of-sale systems.
