The Electric Building Apartments Historic Office-to-Multifamily Conversion Completed

Cleveland Construction, Inc. has completed construction of The Electric Building Apartments, the historic adaptive reuse redevelopment of the former 700 Prospect Building in downtown Cleveland.

The project converted the existing office building into a 120-unit multifamily residential community with ground-floor commercial space while maintaining and restoring key historic building elements. Construction was executed through a multi-phase construction approach that supported phased turnover and occupancy to ownership.

Throughout construction, the team prioritized logistics planning, sequencing, and coordination within an active downtown environment. This approach supported efficient material movement, interior progress, and steady advancement of work across multiple floors.

The project was completed one month ahead of the original construction schedule and delivered in phases to align with owner occupancy requirements.
