Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed as the general contractor for the expansion and interior renovation of an existing Aldi's grocery store in Brooklyn, Ohio.

Cleveland Construction was responsible for managing a 3,304 SF expansion to the existing 14,860 SF building along the north wall. The new space included modification of the entry façade with a brick veneer, replacement of the existing storefront glazing with a redesign of the entry/exit system, remodel of the existing truck dock, installation of new exterior lighting, repainting of exterior metals, and a new roof on the expanded area.

The interior scope included 1,100 SF of tile replacement, removal of lay-in ceiling and lighting, open concept ceiling with new lighting throughout, rework of existing wall partitions to open up space in the existing store, and installation of new walk-in/reach-in coolers.

Our team also upgraded the HVAC and electrical equipment, including the addition of a new rooftop unit and condenser, to support the facility's new freezers and coolers. Additionally, all updates throughout the sales area followed current Aldi brand standards.

Site work included reworking areas around the building addition, as well as asphalt paving, sealcoating, and restriping of the parking lot.
