Office-to-Hotel Building Conversion into Luxury Hotel

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is the construction manager for the historic adaptive reuse of the Ritz-Carlton Savannah. The project includes managing the office-to-hotel building conversion of a historic 15-story high-rise into a luxury mixed-use property featuring 160 luxury hotel rooms and suites.

Originally an office building located at Johnson Square in Savannah’s downtown financial district, the building is being restored and reimagined to preserve its historic charm while being redeveloped for world-class hospitality use.

Once complete, the Ritz-Carlton Savannah will offer luxury accommodations and high-end amenities, including a signature restaurant and bar, a lobby bar and café, and versatile meeting and event spaces.

A highlight of the redevelopment is the rooftop pool, lounge, and terrace, which will be accompanied by a full-service spa and a 24/7 wellness fitness center. The building will also feature modernized elevators, upgraded utilities, and improved operational areas like the trash room and linen chute.

Cleveland Construction is overseeing all aspects of the construction to ensure the property meets modern luxury standards, sustainability goals, and compliance requirements.
