Contractor for a 31-Acre Public Park
Pasco County, Florida
Cleveland Construction. Inc. was the General Contractor for Phase 1 & 2 construction of SunWest Park, a 31-acre public park providing trails, beaches and water recreation in Pasco County, Florida.
SunWest Park is part of Pasco County's Restore Act Waterfront Project and was constructed in 2 phases. The project consists of over 1-mile of sand beach areas, volleyball/soccer areas, freestanding restrooms and showers, picnic areas and site utilities. The park also includes parking lots totaling over 500 spaces, sidewalks around each beach area, small beach shelters, playground, boardwalks and landscaping along the park entrance.
The County Commissioners of Pasco County are also looking at future plans for the park that may include a boat ramps, trails, observation tower and an amphitheater.
