Project Overview
Cleveland Construction, Inc. was contracted to perform as the interior trades package for a new 860-room hotel located on the main military post in Fort Benning, Georgia.
The 450,000 square-foot hotel includes 740 extended-stay rooms, 60 suites, 60 standard rooms and more than 500 new parking spaces. The hotel was designed with a Spanish Mission architectural theme that blends with the other historical buildings at Fort Benning.
The hotel also has a sustainable design that is seeking a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification.
Cleveland Construction’s scope of work included furnishing and installing cold-formed metal framing, thermal insulation, non-structural metal framing, gypsum wallboard, hollow metal door frames, acoustical ceiling tile and other misc. finishes.
