Interior Traded Contractor for Navy Federal Union Campus Expansion (Phase 1)
Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed the interior trades scope on Phase 1 of the campus expansion at the Navy Federal Credit Union in Pensacola, Florida. Phase 1, which was 554,000 SF in total, included an office building, a Central Energy Plant (CEP), a Commons Area, a parking deck, surface parking areas, and associated connecting walking paths, bridges, and roads.
The 3-story, 319,000 SF office building features multiple office wings, conference and meeting rooms, training space, call center operations, a fitness center, and a cafe. The office building is pending LEED Silver certification by the USGBC. The 2-story, 40,320 SF CEP facility provides power and cooling support for the new office building and backup energy for the existing campus operations.
Cleveland Construction’s specific Phase 1 scope of work consisted of exterior framing and sheathing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, specialty metal ceilings, specialty wood ceilings, composite wood siding, acoustical wall/ceiling panels, and stretch wall panels.
At the peak of this project, Cleveland Construction had approximately 80 employees on site performing interior trades.
