Interior Trades Contractor for New Residential Complex at University of Florida
Cleveland Construction, Inc. served as the interior specialty contractor under Weitz Construction for the construction of four new residence halls, each 5-6 stories high, and a one-story common space building, forming a five-building complex on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The residential buildings include a combination of single and double suites for a total of 1,415 beds (825 units).
Cleveland Construction's scope of work included furnishing and installing the walls and ceilings, comprising metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical and specialty ceilings throughout the four new honors residence halls.
