Cleveland Construction, Inc. commemorated a significant milestone with a topping-off ceremony of the historic 31-story building, City Club Apartments Union Central, located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The topping-off event was hosted by City Club Apartments, LLC and Cleveland Construction, Inc., who invited a select group of community leaders, local media representatives, and special guests for an inside look at the progress of this historic adaptive reuse project. Attendees were provided with an exclusive inside look at the current state of the development, showcasing the transformation of this iconic building formerly known as the PNC Tower.
The event began with guests touring the 1st-floor lobby, seeing the progress of the ornate ceilings in the historic elevator lobby. From there, they were guided to the 17th floor using the construction hoist, where the topping-off ceremony was held.
The topping-out ceremony on the 17th floor marked a significant achievement in the construction process. Attendees gathered amidst breathtaking views to witness the symbolic placement of the final piece of the building's structure. This event not only celebrated the progress made thus far but also paid homage to the rich history of the edifice.
City Club Apartments Union Central's transformation exemplifies the dedication of Cleveland Construction, Inc. and City Club Apartments, CBD to preserving and reviving architectural heritage while creating a modern, vibrant living space for the Cincinnati community.
As the project nears completion, anticipation grows for the grand opening, when City Club Apartments Union Central will welcome residents to indulge in a luxurious and amenity-filled lifestyle within the heart of Cincinnati's urban landscape.

Also during the event City Club Apartments CEO, Jonathan Holtzman said, " It seems like just yesterday that we were hosting our groundbreaking ceremony on the beautiful outdoor patio at The View at Shires Garden in the Annex building. We take very seriously our commitment to celebrating and restoring the building's great history while ushering in a future focused on amenities, services, and world-class dining and retail."
Special guest speaker, Mayor Aftab Pureval said, "We are thrilled that Jonathan Holtzman and City Club Apartments are carefully preserving and reuniting the two buildings and bringing back the Union Central and Annex names while ushering in a world-class residential and mixed-use future" and how this is positively impacting the Cincinnati community.
City Club Apartments Union Central is a 31-story historical building, 380,000 square feet will include 281 luxury apartments and penthouses, including a salon and day spa, a bank, a private club, and boutique office spaces. Residents and guests can rent a furnished CCA Suite or unfurnished apartment or penthouse for a day, week, month, or multiple years.
The first residences are scheduled to move into City Club Apartments Union Central in November of 2023.
