On Tuesday, June 18th, Cleveland Construction's summer interns dedicated their day to volunteering for United Way's Day of Caring. This initiative pairs various companies throughout Lake County with local charities to assist with small maintenance projects. This year, Cleveland Construction partnered with the Wildwood Cultural Center.
The historic home at the center of the property was hosting a camp during the arrival of the volunteers, but the Wildwood Cultural Center is a place known for hosting all sorts of events for the community. The 12 volunteers from Cleveland Construction spent their time helping with spraying poison ivy, trimming the landscaping, cleaning up the trails, and more. The effort of a dozen volunteers helped speed up all the tasks, and in the end, everything was done in a few hours.
