Cleveland Construction’s Director of Quality Management Presents to Kent State University’s CM Students

On Monday, February 27th, Cleveland Construction Inc.'s Director of Quality Management & Training, Dan Williams, presented to students in Kent State University's Construction Management Student Organization on the fundamental elements of quality management and the importance of cultivating a strong quality culture. During the presentation, Dan shared real-life stories about how our construction teams are utilizing innovative solutions and products to overcome everyday construction obstacles.

Dan also introduced students to USG/Tremco’s new building envelope product, Securock® ExoAir® 430 Sheathing Panels, and discussed how this product is designed to deliver consistent and predictable air and water barrier performance. This superior product ensures protection for the building envelope while requiring less manpower to install, more favorable temperature constraints, and a prolonged exposure window.

As Cleveland Construction's Quality Management Manager, Dan provides field managers with the necessary tools to creatively solve problems and ensure higher levels of quality while minimizing rework. He is also a member of AXA XL's Quality Collaborative, which focuses on improving the construction industry through the implementation of quality management techniques.
