Project Overview

Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed as the general contractor for the construction of a new 136,367 SF big-box retail store and fuel station in Moorseville, North Carolina.

The project’s scope of work included site demolition, earthwork, site utilities, site irrigation and landscaping, asphalt and concrete pavement, curbs and gutters, traffic signs and signals, termite control, fencing, and a large retaining wall.

Cleveland Construction was also responsible for steel erection, masonry, aluminum storefront, metal canopy, EIFS, membrane roofing, acoustical ceiling, painting, glazing, joint sealants, water repellents, insulation, carpentry, architectural woodwork, gypsum board systems, burnished concrete floors, tile, carpet (labor only), VCT (labor only), sub-metering, wheelchair lifts, and fuel station equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and fire protection systems.

The construction duration was approximately 365 calendar days, and the project was completed on time in December 2013.
