Specialty Ceiling Contractor for Concourse A Expansion at Charlotte Douglas Airport
Cleveland Construction, Inc. served as the specialty ceiling contractor for JE Dunn and McFarland, a joint venture responsible for the Concourse A Phase II Expansion project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Cleveland Construction's scope of work included the installation of the ceiling package, which features extruded aluminum baffles, metal pan ceilings, stretched fabric ceilings with LED backlighting, aluminum perimeter trim, and standard grid & tile acoustical ceilings.
The expansion project covered 191,848 square-feet and added ten new gates for Delta Air Lines, along with retail and restaurant concession areas. Cleveland Construction's work created a modern and spacious passenger travel experience.
The ceiling installation helped create a functional and visually appealing space, supporting the airport’s reputation as a leading travel hub.
